Project Description

Mercy of Trees

Unusual phenomena marked audience pictures and videos taken of Mercy of Trees, a site-specific work that immerses audiences in an original creation myth. Throughout the grounds, halls and staircases of Jefferson Market Library and Garden in the Greenwich Village of New York, audiences follow a hero’s journey through a mythical re-telling of the birth of colonial North America. Performed in partnership with New York Public Library as part of Origin Theatre’s ‘First Irish’ Theatre Festival.
